German Curling Association
Curling has been a popular sport in Scotland since the 16th century. This team sport using stones and brooms is played on a completely level pebbled ice surface. More information on this Olympic winter sport discipline is available at the website of the German Curling Association (DCV – Deutscher Curling-Verband e.V.).
If you have already caught the curling fever, here you’ll find clubs where you can get out on the ice and sweep that broom yourself. The site includes a glossary explaining the most important terminology, tournament reports, current news and the schedule of national competitions. Links take you to the websites of international organizations and national clubs.
