The pages on the Germany Portal are provided to you via the servers operated by the Information Network Berlin-Bonn (IVBB - Informationsverbund Berlin-Bonn).

When you access deutschland.de, we store the corresponding log files on our servers to allow for a possible identification (e.g. IP address, date, time and page viewed). These data records are used anonymously for statistical purposes and are deleted after six months. No personal data will be used.

We do not use Java applets or cookies. We use only a number of JavaScript functions to present our information pages and different navigation aids. An ActiveX control is used to recognize Flash plug-ins.
