The Green Innovation Centre in Benin is one of 13 centres worldwide with which Germany is supporting the global fight against hunger. It was opened in the city of Cotonou at the beginning of 2016. These facilities help small-scale farming operations to increase their agricultural productivity and their income. They also aim to support the creation of new jobs in the region.
