Where to start: the A-Trane in Charlottenburg
One of the city’s best-known jazz clubs is the A-Trane in Bleibtreustrasse. Exuding an intimate club atmosphere, the venue regularly hosts big international names such as Nanne Emelie and Brad Mehldau - though talented young musicians also make their debut here.
Modern and experimental: the b-flat and Donau115
The b-flat jazz club in Berlin’s Mitte district features modern acoustics and a diverse programme. Every week, a jam session gives musicians the chance to present themselves and their music.

Each year, the festival takes place at different venues, including the city’s Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church.
