Ecologic Institute

Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK)

The Potsdam Institute for Climate Research seeks to find ways of ensuring a safe and fair climate future. Experts in the natural sciences and social sciences from all over the world are engaged in interdisciplinary projects in which they investigate the ecological, economic and social consequences of climate change. The institute is one of the most important think tanks in Germany in this field – and among the leading think tanks worldwide in the area of environmental policy.
