German Association of Political and Business Economists
A special guide for students and professionals alike: The German Association of Political and Business Economists (bdvb) represents the interests of all German economists. The roots of the association go back to 1901 - when the first organization for political economists was founded. Today, the bdvb encourages the exchange of thoughts and ideas between scientific theory and actual practice and serves as a forum for interdisciplinary discussions.
German Central Library for Economics
One of the world’s major libraries for economics and the social sciences is located in Northern Germany at the Institute for World Economics (Institut für Weltwirtschaft, IfW) at the University of Kiel. It is open to international and German researchers, political and business decision makers and interested members of the public.
