The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation networks outstanding researchers.
It would surely have pleased Alexander von Humboldt: the Bonn-based foundation that bears the name of the great naturalist and explorer supports successful partnerships between outstanding foreign and German researchers and awards the most highly endowed international research prize in Germany, the Alexander von Humboldt Professorship with five million euros. It is also celebrating its 60th anniversary. Happy Birthday!
