German Track and Field Association
Running, jumping, throwing: The German Track and Field Association (DLV – Deutscher Leichtathletik-Verband), with its headquarters in Darmstadt, looks back on a long tradition. The Association trains more than 900 000 competitive and recreational athletes throughout Germany. The DLV was founded as the “German Sports Authority for Athletics” as early as 1898. Today, it is the fifth-largest association in the German Olympics Sports Association.
