Let´s tok about books – Germany’s most interesting BookTok creators
A vibrant BookTok community has developed on TikTok. We introduce three fascinating BookTok creators from Germany.

Nathalie Bröske, @nathalie_reads
With more than 200,000 followers, Nathalie Bröske from Bochum is one of Germany’s best-known BookTok voices. Since 2021, she has been presenting new German and international titles on TikTok in German. She mainly focuses on fantasy and romantasy. In her videos, she combines book recommendations with short scenes, using props or brief roleplays. Bröske aims to create a community where readers can exchange ideas and inspire each other. In 2025 she was nominated “BookTok Creator of the Year” at the TikTok Book Awards in recognition of her work.

Florence Oriwo, @onemorebookpodcast1
Hamburg-based Florence Oriwo has received around 57,000 likes on TikTok. On her channel, she presents international bestsellers and German-language works in English, with a strong focus on diversity and personal reading recommendations. She is also the co-host of the podcast One More Book, where current books and different perspectives on reading are regularly discussed.

Timur Tim Ayar, @timurs.time
Timur Ayar reimagines classics of German literature on Instagram — with dramatic make-up, sharp commentary, and a touch of sarcasm. In his German-language reels and Bookstagram posts, he combines literary critique with pop culture, giving works from Goethe to Brecht a modern perspective. Instead of simply summarising content, he asks whose voices are missing from literature – and why. In this way, he turns classic texts into a starting point for today’s social debates.
