Dançando – Eu conheço o Mundo II (Dancing - I know the World II),is a project with has the intention of giving continuity to the methodology (ATDLA) " Autonomy Training For Daily Life Activities " for people with disabilities. Having started in 2013 by Telmo Ferreira, the first ATDLA developed and encompassed the acquisition of skills and autonomy in the area of cooking, personal care, cleaning, mobility and dance.
This project aims at the social inclusion of people with disabilities, using the method of the grupo Dançando com a Diferença (GDD) to develop their skills related to daily living tasks, focusing on the improvement of the living conditions of the project participants and consequently of their families. Throughout the project will be prepared regular dance classes and autonomy training: Use of public transportation and other training related to personal mobility, hygiene, preparation of their own meals and communication with other people.

Goal and purpose of the project:
Promote the autonomy of people with disabilities helping them to perform theirdaily tasks such as: geographical orientation, use of public transport, careful presentation and adequacy of clothing, food (know food, make basic meals), develop communication and promote equal access to artistic practice in dance. Strengthen motor psychomotricity and coordination and self-esteem through the acquisition / modification of habits and routines to personal care and interpersonal relationships.
Motivation of the applicant / applicant team:
The realization of this project can improve the living conditions of people with disabilities and their autonomy in performing tasks, being this our main motivation.
We want t this to become an educational reference and social inclusion of people with disabilities that will be able to as a methodology to promote the integration and development of the capacities of new elements.
Use of prize money:
The #youforG20 award prize will fund the entire project, helping with the purchase of all materials and equipment needed to develop the activities; communication, purchase of consumables, promotion of activities and payment to trainers / collaborators.
