Project description:

It’s the first hydroponics farm in Palestine, the reasons t make it unique special and the first one of its kind ,that it works on the special nutrient solution which I developed from local resources without the dependent on national formulas , because the raw materials are not allowed to be used in Palestine so that after many years of working and making research I have got my own nutrient solution from the alternatives and i will seek to register it patented in the nearest time.
Now it’s a 340 square meter space , with a production capacity of 7000 fresh vegetables/monthly , vegetables such as Lettuce ,Mint , Cabbage , oregano,strawberries , chives and many other vegetables.
Also we use the farm as a plot for making experiments and research seeking to develop it and to circulate this type of farming on all concerned parties in the cooperation with the universities and research centers and others. The farm receives all the visitors which comes from all of Palestine areas ,visitors such as farmers ,companies , organizations ,agronomists ,university students.. Also we work with some associations on training of farmers and agronomists on Hydroponics basics to start their own business and helping to create a new type of jobs facing unemployment .

we support the students in schools which in the age of ( 12-25) years with the proper information about agriculture and environment and hydroponics as a culture .
Also we published a paper about hydroponics and soil-ess culture on the International Journal of Plant Science and Ecology, Vol. 2, No. 3, June 2016 Publish Date: Oct. 9, 2016 Pages: 23-29 titled as " Hydroponics and Aquaponics for sustainable Agriculture and Environment " we are designing hydroponics units for schools and houses and many other customers , and we provide a consulting services in the field of hydroponics Soon the farm will be expanded to be 1000 square meters to produce more products and to be with high Feasibility .
The expected production capacity is about 22000 plants monthly at least. Another facilities will be added to the farm it more integrated such as automatic running system connected with a computer and database and mobile application to monitor the system. Also for the sustainability and the integrity the farm expected to be run by the solar electricity , a specific waste water treatment plant will be added to the farm to treat all the waste water ,a composter for turning farm waste into benefit compost. A nursery will be added to produce the farm needs of seedlings and strong varieties.
Laboratory will be added to carry out all the measurements needed to develop the farm and for data documentation and publication .
