No programming skills, no tech background – yet she’s one of Germany’s best-known AI communicators. Susanne Renate Schneider created renate.GPT, a platform designed to help people overcome their fear of AI tools. Her motto: “I explain AI in a way that even my Grandma Renate can understand it.”

As a psychologist, Schneider understands the fears many people have about new technology. For this reason, her book KI leicht gemacht (AI made easy) is aimed specifically at people who have so far avoided the topic altogether.

Through online courses, conference appearances and podcasts, she encourages people across Germany to try out AI – with no prior knowledge and no pressure. Her approach: if you understand AI, you lose your fear of it.
