Germany’s commitment to the UN’s climate targets

Reduction of carbon emissions

At COP28, Germany will call for decisions to be taken that will help halve global emissions by 2030, compared to 1990 levels. Germany is committed to cutting its greenhouse gas emissions and wants to become climate-neutral by 2045.
