Popstar in Uganda

Lots of people in Uganda are simply mad about her songs and her voice. Deena Herr, born in Baden-Baden in south Germany, sings in almost perfect Lugandan, the language of Uganda. Her first big hit was a love song called Mumulete. In 2013, the singer worked in the neighbouring country of Ruanda in an aid project for street children. In her free time she 
travelled to Uganda, fell in love with the country and stayed. Meantime her second song, Ggwe Anamponya, has stormed the charts.
