Travelling in Germany. The German National Tourist Board (DZT) has issued free of charge an e-magazine compiled especially for Jewish visitors. In it they will find information on historical sites of Jewish culture and on Jewish life in 64 German cities. The e-brochure is part of a campaign for travellers with Jewish roots. From January to September 2013 the Statistics Office registered an increase in visitors of almost 19% from Israel alone, compared to the same period the previous year. “These tips for Jewish travellers are an important contribution against the backdrop of preparations for the 50th anniversary of German-Israeli relations in 2015,” says Petra Hedorfer, chair of the board of the DZT.
