Celebrating in Frankfurt

The festivities for the 25th anniversary of German reunification will take place in Frankfurt am Main. The annual Day of German Unity celebrations are always held in a different state, and this year it is the turn of Hesse. Under the heading “Overcoming Borders”, from 2 to 4 October 2015 there will be exhibitions, debates, shows and talks with eye witnesses all over the city. In addition to Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel and Federal President Joachim Gauck, hundreds of thousands of visitors are expected, including, of course, many people from the large Asian communities in Germany’s most international city.
