The argan tree plays an important economic role in the lives of the region's inhabitants. In addition to extracting oil from its grains, the shells of these grains and the remaining dough after extracting the oil are used as cattle feed.

 The tree tree works to protect the soil and maintain the ecological balance. This is due to the fact that its roots are much deeper in search of water for a distance of up to 200 m. It works to stabilize the soil and protect it from erosion while at the same time facilitating the penetration of water into the ground.
