Project description:

We invent a process of sustainable construction where we can encapsulate urban solid waste that generates great pollution in our environment such as polystyrene, glass and ceramics, cement rubble and used tires in conjunction with reinforced concrete panels and other additions that We invent to build ecological, resistant and durable houses, walls, floors and ceilings, thermal and acoustically insulated places. Through our constructive system we can make social housing in less than 3 weeks, with finishes and with reduced costs, which allows us to replicate the project around the world, to bring decent housing and generate jobs. This type of construction can be repeated in places with high humidity, marshes, jungles, arid and desertic areas, remote populations lacking construction materials and at the same time are resistant to earthquakes and exceed fire resistance standards.

Goal and purpose of the project:

If we can use urban solid waste in a very efficient construction system, instead of having garbage problems and municipal dumps, we would have more people living in sustainable homes, enjoying commercial and thermal constructions and comfortable, at reduced costs and in the process we generate Profits and generate jobs.

Motivation of the applicant / applicant team:

This costructive system can help us solve local environmental problems through the recycling of highly polluting materials, solve the problem of access to fair and good quality social housing, reduce the use of energy used for air conditioning and heating, generate local jobs and In remote communities. In Mexico there are still communities with problems of access to decent housing, lack of employment and destruction of ecosystems to obtain means of subsistence where the red brick is very used and in its elaboration it generates erosion of the earth, felling of trees and contamination with the Burning of materials for their cooking. We want to contribute by solving different factors that have an impact on poverty and environmental neglect.

Use of prize money:

The prize money will be used for the purchase of construction materials necessary to bring housing to populations that do not have sufficient resources and at the same time teach them this constructive system that helps their communities with decent housing and solve local waste management problems
