Berlin’s cosmopolitan arts centre is celebrating an anniversary
The House of World Cultures in Berlin celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2014.
The two-year-long Anthropocene Project is sounding out the much-discussed theory that a new age has begun in which humans have become a geological force. The project ends in 2014 and concludes the anniversary year of the House of World Cultures in Berlin. Since 1989 it has been reflecting the increasing significance of culture in international relations whilst offering a forum for dialogue and discussion.
