Insight into an unknown land
An exhibition in Stuttgart allows visitors to discover the culture, art and history of Myanmar.
The Linden-Museum Stuttgart will be hosting the exhibition Myanmar – The Golden Country until 17 May 2015. With 200 original artefacts, the show is Germany’s first comprehensive look at the culture of a nation long isolated from the outside world. The exhibition focuses on Buddhism and its relationship to the arts. Works by contemporary artists document the country’s ongoing encounter with the modern world.
