Book prize for Terézia Mora. The jury praised it as a “spirited road novel set in pres­ent-day eastern Europe” and a moving diag­nosis of the times. The German-Hungarian 
author Terézia Mora has won the 2013 German Book Prize for her novel, Das Ungeheuer. The German Publishers and Booksellers Association awards this prize for the best German-language novel of the year, and it often transforms the winning book into a bestseller.
