A different art form, a different name: UK transgender musician Anohni (formerly known as Antony Hegarty) is presenting a new side of her work in an exhibition that will be on show at the Kunsthalle Bielefeld until October 2016. In ten years, with a series of political, cynical and melancholic works, Anohni has created an artistic oeuvre with a feel for the haptic quality of materials. At least one work was created during a scholarship for the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Programme in 2015. As co-curator, Anohni has also selected works by James Elaine, Peter Hujar and Kazuo Ohno.
