A detailed look at the bridge-builders
The touring exhibition “Israelis and Germans” is dedicated to people who have worked to bring the two countries closer together.
Stories about Israelis and Germans: 11 locations in Germany and four in Israel are linked by the extraordinary touring exhibition created by the German-Israeli Association (DIG) to mark this jubilee year. It began in mid-October and is to be hosted by seven more German cities in 2016. If you cannot attend the exhibition in person, you can take the opportunity to view it online – in both German and English. The exhibition is dedicated primarily to those people who made tireless efforts to bring Germany and Israel closer together (photo of David Ben Gurion and Konrad Adenauer) and also most definitely to young Israelis and Germans who are shaping relations between the two countries now and will be doing so in the future. The online material includes 12 video interviews with these committed “bridge-builders”.
