Peter Limbourg became the new Director General of Deutsche Welle in October 2013.
Change at Deutsche Welle. The station was part of his life even as a teenager in Rome, Paris, Athens and Brussels. Now, Peter Limbourg is the new Director General of Deutsche Welle, replacing Erik Bettermann. His aim is to continue developing the journalistic profile and multimedia, says the new director who made his career in commercial television. In his last job he was Information Director with ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland.
