From Borussia Dortmund to the science of Star Trek
Professor Metin Tolan teaches science in an original way.
“MODERN PHYSICS FOR ALL”. The name of Metin Tolan’s successful course of lectures immediately tells you that it has nothing to do with the ivory towers of academe. The professor at TU Dortmund recently won the Communicator Prize of the German Research Foundation and Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft for the original way he teaches science by including the physics of football (mainly with reference to Borussia Dortmund) and allusions to Star Trek.
