The final result was 7:1. The German team thrashed hosts Brazil to reach the 2014 World Cup final. Thomas Müller, Sami Khedira, Miroslav Klose, Toni Kroos and André Schürrle scored for Germany. Miroslav Klose netted his 16th World Cup finals goal to become the record scorer in World Cup history. In Sunday’s final, trainer Joachim Löw’s team will meet the winner of the semi-final between Argentina and the Netherlands.
