She’s the dream of every HR manager: Ann-Kristin Achleitner is an economics professor with two PhDs and a member of three German company supervisory boards.
Ann-Kristin Achleitner is a woman of superlatives. Born in 1966, she qualified as a professor at the age of 26 and received her own professorial chair at 29. The economist has also been honoured with the Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. Today, Achleitner is research director of the Center for Entrepreneurial and Financial Studies at Technische Universität München, and sits on the supervisory boards of three DAX-listed companies. Mother-of-three Achleitner wants to see more women like herself in top management in Germany.
