A web portal with information about contemporary African art.
Since early 2013 the online platform Contemporary And (C&) has been reporting on contemporary art from an African perspective. The project, which was initiated by ifa (German Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations), and is promoted by the Federal Foreign Office as part of the Action Africa Initiative, has become internationally established since then. Now, for the first time, the portal makers have published a printed magazine for the Biennale in Dakar which is also available at other art events worldwide.
