One of the most important design
museums in the world is located in a small town in the Switzerland-France-Germany triangle. The Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein houses the estates of Charles and Ray Eames, Verner Panton and other classics and is thus home to numerous key works in the history of design. The museum was designed by top architect Frank Gehry and the exhibitions also
concentrate on the future of design.
