Is drawing pictures at the museum a good introduction to art
for young and old? Although that is still done, the honourable if somewhat fusty field of museum education has also come up with some new ideas. Art communicators, for example, are not only teachers, but artists too. Their precursors are collectives
like Kunstcoop and eck_ik. Instead of confirming that museums are venues for higher truths, they question the history and interpretation of these institutions by artistic-deconstructive means.
