Learning German in the language lab
A language lab was presented to the German Department of the Gamal Abdel Nasser University of Conakry in April 2016.
In April 2016 there was a large celebration in the German Department of the state-run Université Gamal Abdel Nasser de Conakry, Guinea’s largest university. The occasion was the presentation of a language laboratory with places for 25 students. Financed with over 17,200 euros of cultural funding from the Federal Foreign Office, it is the largest investment in the promotion of German language teaching in Guinea for some years. The language laboratory is part of an education campaign for German as a foreign language and aims to enable more students to be able to study for a first or postgraduate degree in Germany. The language laboratory will be used not only by university students, but also by students of the Institution Scolaire Sainte Marie, among others.
