Ten cities in Germany will be hosting EURO 2024 matches. Cities in seven of the 16 federal states were selected for the tournament. Besides Munich (stadium with a seating capacity of 67,000) and Berlin (70,000), these are Cologne (47,000), Dortmund (66. 000), Düsseldorf (47,000), Frankfurt (48,000), Gelsenkirchen (50,000), Hamburg (50,000), Leipzig (42,000) and Stuttgart (54,000).

The venues were selected according to various criteria, not least due to the fact that the cities and their stadiums offer easy access for travelling football fans. The idea is to reduce travelling times for fans – an important contribution to making EURO 2024 as ecofriendly as possible.

Here we introduce you to the venues. All fan zones are open every day during EURO 2024 and do not charge admission. They will be showing all matches live, sometimes in separate public viewing areas, and they also offer a wide range of activities such as sports, esports and concerts on non-match days. So-called private viewings in beer gardens, pubs or clubs are to be found in almost all cities and towns in Germany.
