More Swiss footballers now play in the Bundesliga than ever before.
Would you have known? The largest group of foreign Bundesliga players comes from Switzerland: 17 footballers, including national player Xherdan Shaqiri (above). Foreigners make up 47% of the players in Germany’s top soccer league. After the Swiss, the most players come from Brazil (16), Austria (15), Poland (13), Turkey (13) and Japan (11).
