Help towards self-help

Christoph Lüdemann is actively involved in Africa – and was named Germany’s first Student of the Year.

12.07.2016

He is a student of medicine, has a Master’s degree in economics – and founded L’appel Deutschland. This organisation provides help towards self-help in Rwanda and Sierra Leone. Now Christoph Lüdemann has received the Student of the Year award for his outstanding effort. The German Association of University Professors and Lecturers and the German National Association for Student Affairs presented this honour the first time in 2016. L’appel Deutschland focuses on the needs of
people in sub-Saharan Africa: it has established a health centre in northern Rwanda that provides medical care for the rural population and has founded an all-day school in Sierra Leone.
