ZKM_ONLINE

A modern museum ought to be a partner in the production of art - at least in the opinion of Peter Weibel, director of the Center for Art and Media Technology (Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie, ZKM). Exhibits show the associated Media Museum and the Museum for New Art. The ZKM studies the development of information technologies and the transformation of social structures. This cultural institution combines production and research, exhibits, events, mediation and documentation.
