A small town in the Black Forest gave the factory its name: Gaggenau. What began as a hammer mill and nail manufactory
in 1683 is today a world famous brand
for ovens, cookers and other household
appliances. In between Gaggenau also produced enamel advertising signs and
women’s bicycles. What has always remained is an enthusiasm for experimentation and technological progress that has led to more than 300 patents.
