Wiesbaden (dpa) - The corona crisis has so far hit air freight in Germany much less hard than passenger traffic. The receipt and dispatch of goods by air fell by 12.1 percent to around 1.1 million tonnes in the period from March to May compared with the same period last year, according to the Federal Statistical Office. In contrast, passenger traffic at German airports slumped by 87.4 percent during this period.
