Conference on Energy Transition Dialogue in Berlin
Decision-makers will meet for the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue 2015.

Climate change and the limited availability of resources are enormous challenges, which the Federal Government is answering with its Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue 2015. Jointly with the German Renewable Energy Federation and its industry associations, the Federal Government is organising this major energy conference at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin at the end of March 2015. Partly in anticipation of this year’s climate change conference in Paris, foreign affairs and energy policymakers, representatives of industry and actors from the fields of science, administration and civil society will be discussing how climate protection, the security of energy supplies and economic growth can best be reconciled with one another. Expected speakers include Federal Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the Director-General of the International Renewable Energies Agency IRENA and US economist Jeremy Rifkin.
