Global exchange
The German Academic Exchange Service develops international links.

As a network, it is unrivalled. The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the world’s largest funding organization for the international exchange of students and researchers, builds links with scholars from San Francisco to Sydney and from Africa to Central Asia. A total of 15 offices and 55 information centres represent an open culture of science and scholarship. The opening of its newest offices in Tel Aviv, Israel, and in Kazan, Russia, makes it clear that the DAAD has not yet finished when it comes to promoting international academic understanding.
